1969, is an Irish photographer, electronic music producer, DJ, and record label owner. Born in Dublin, he studied commercial photography at Dún Laoghaire College of Art and Design from 1988 to 1991.

For more than a decade he worked in the independent music scene, co-founding the Dead Elvis label and establishing the techno label D1 Recordings in 1994. He also founded the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF), which ran from 2001 to 2009 and presented events across the city.

He returned to photography in 2008, producing street photographs in Dublin, particularly around Parnell Street and O’Connell Street where he lives. His work gained international attention through a series of self-published photobooks beginning with i (2014), followed by ON (2015) and End (2016), often referred to as the Dublin trilogy. These books document people encountered in the streets of Dublin and are central to his practice.

Later publications include K (2018), photographed along the western Atlantic edge of Ireland, and Made in Dublin(2019). His work continues to combine photography with sound and collaborative projects with artists and musicians.
