Born in 1983 in Houston, Texas, is an American photographer living and working in Texas. His practice centers on black-and-white photography of landscapes and people in the southern United States, with the photobook as a primary form for sequencing and narrative development.

He studied graphic design at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, graduating in 2007, and received an MFA from the University of Hartford in 2017. His first photobook, Jasper (2018), was made in the forests and mountains of the Ozarks and focuses on people seeking refuge within the American landscape, with many photographs produced in and around Jasper, Arkansas.

Subsequent books include Mother of Dogs (2022), made during the COVID-19 pandemic and based on walks through the landscape of Marfa, Texas, combining images of desert terrain, paths, and domestic spaces with portraits of his partner, and Dogbreath (2024), centered on a community of adolescents in Tucson, Arizona. Alongside Bryan Schutmaat and Cody Haltom, he co-runs the photobook publisher Trespasser, founded in 2017.
