Tanja Lazetic - Train Stations from Vienna to Istanbul in Alphabetical Order, Self published, 2014, Ljubljana

Softcover, edition of 300, signed.
„On the way from Vienna to Istanbul is place called Biser. This Bulgarian village is one of the few places whose images can be found on Google Street View. I like the name. Biser means pearl in most southern Slavic languages. I do not know why it got this name because it seems the exact opposite of a shiny pearl. It may be similar to robust shells, in which the pearls grow. Such a shell could also be the train route from Vienna to Istanbul and then I've already found my pearl (biser).“ (Tanja Lažetić)
