Malmö Konsthall
Is an art hall in Malmö, Sweden, dedicated to modern and contemporary art. It presents exhibitions of classical modernism as well as national and international contemporary art, alongside artistic experiments and cross-disciplinary events involving theatre, film, video, poetry, and music. The institution also organizes lectures and debates and attracts approximately 200,000 visitors annually.
Opened in 1975, the building was designed by Swedish architect Klas Anshelm. It offers a flexible and light-filled exhibition space of about 2,000 square meters. In 1994, the Kunsthalle was renovated and expanded to include the adjacent brick building, Hantverkshuset.
