2 June 1981, is a Dutch visual artist working across photography, sculpture, collage, video, installation, artist books, and digital media. Born in Dordrecht, she studied at the Academy of Art and Design St. Joost in Breda, graduating in 2003. She has lived and worked in various cities including Berlin and New York and currently works between Brussels, Berlin, and Botopasi in Suriname.

Her practice engages with social themes in relation to digital visual culture and the circulation of images online. She uses large image archives, internet material, and participatory methods to address questions of connectivity, mental health, and geopolitical awareness. Photography and the photobook are central to her work, alongside installations, performances, and web-based projects.

Artist books form an important part of her output, including titles such as becoming blue (2009), Playing Borders. This Temporary State of Mind (2009), and The Bungalow (2014). Her work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Stedelijk Museum, FOAM, Kunsthal Rotterdam, Museum Tinguely, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and has received several awards and recognitions.
