Untitled is the new book by German artist Alexander Binder (b.1976). Binder, self-taught photographer, with this new 200 pages volume continues his research on occult and symbolism. As usual, the reader has to complete this romantic and definitive detachment from reality that Binder use to create.
Throughout the volume the dark swallows and the light burns, each picture is part of a big incoherent and illogical drawing: the entire body of work seems to re-emerge from a past, teaching us nothing because there’s no historical or geographical data, we only know that probably we have to follow this atmospherical state. Again, Binder is trying to create something ancestral, esoteric, partly realistic but never real, and this time the big picture is deeply anti-narrative.
