Hardcover with dust jacket and green text-booklet laid in. Layout and design by Gabriele Franziska Götz and John Gossage.

"Through surveillance photographs, disorienting close ups, and odd details, John Gossage's newest body of work questions the artificiality of political borders when compared to a location's actual borders--i.e., the land and the sea--and the conceptual borders we bring to bear on understanding them both. His images are dark and grainy, obscuring all sense of specific location and identity, in favor showing humanity teeming with life recognizable in the outline of a single gesture."
