„Heitere Fahne, a cultural space on the outskirts of Bern, Switzerland, occupies this series of images by Ruben Wyttenbach. A place of constant change, the challenges of documenting the activities and people there were many. These randomly selected, individual stories, statements, and images are facets that contribute their respective parts to the overall picture. While making a collective dream a reality, the endeavour was also an experiment to create a communal cultural centre. Images and text offer snapshots in equal ways, moods with varying exposures, depth, focus, and detail. These are the traces and fragments, subjective references to a complex, participatory whole.“
