The book consists of 24 abstract photographs. François made this serie during night walks in the XIII district of Paris, a changing neighborhood, deserted at night and lit in neon. Halfway between street photography and pictorial art, his ambition is primarily plastic: questioning the limits of figuration, it seeks to recreate sensations (of the Greek αίσθησισ/Aisthesis).
