Maledetto Cane #1 is the first experiment in periodic publishing by autoproduzioni Maledetto Cane. It is a collective project to which sixteen photographers contributed, but it is not simply a collection of sixteen separate works. The materials touch and overlap organically, presented as if they were part of a collective stream of consciousness. The narrative does not aim to conclude with the final image but instead resolves itself in the gaze of the viewer.

This first issue revolves around the themes of relationships and intimacy, explored as an attempt to reflect a reality tied to the need to process what we know about ourselves. The process mirrors the authors in their respective counterparts, turning their attention inward. The images influence one another, raising questions rather than asserting certainties. Truths are, in a sense, freed from their state of immobility. //
