Martina Korošec - The Red Thread, Self published, 2018, Stockholm

Finnboard, coptic binding, handsewn by artist herself, edition of 20 numbered and signed copies. Text and design by Martina Korošec.

The Red Thread is a document, which contains photographs and short texts created between the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2018 in Stockholm, Sweden. Firstly created as a diary, the material was reorganised in a non-linear order. This is a collection of short reflections and observations mirroring the inner world and at the same time describing the outer world.
I believe that when you stop observing and stop wondering about mundane things, you lose this very basic connection with life, with here and now.
