„In the early 2000s, the neighborhood of Via Sammartini in Milan and the district of San Berillo in Catania were the landmark of petty criminality and the theatre of various crimes.
This is also where the two main groups of transgender sex workers in Italy lived and worked (Brazilian in Milan and Italian in Catania).
Attilio Solzi photographed them in their intimacy. Dollhouse fondly shows these portraits of men midway between women and divas.“
