'Conversions' is the recent publication by Sacramento based photographer David Spagnolo.  Comprised of a tightly edited selection of nine images, 'Conversions' describes an accumulation of time and light within the neglected areas adjacent to the interstate highway systems of Sacramento.  Treating atmosphere as composition, the photographs display a sense of isolation and mystery that move beyond the initial appearance of the subject matter. Published by E23 Editions, the personal imprint for the photographer as a platform for his own work and that of other artists.
