Published in the late 20’s and figuring now among the rare and classic photo books over the Paris theme, “100 x Paris” contains 100 of the avant-garde german photographer Germaine Krull, all printed in heliogravure. Text in german, french, and english. The 31 pages foreword is written by Florent Fels. True testimony of an eye way ahead of its time, innovative views succeed each other with a special care : to move away as far as possible from the usual pictures of the City of Lights.

Fascinated by Paris, she walked across it armed with his Icarette 6×9 camera to deliver her vision of the city at the end of the roaring twenties. “100 x Paris” is published by Verlag der Reihe in Berlin 1929, less than one year after the publishing of an other major tittle : “Metal”. (Souviens Toi De Paris)
