A FEW OTHER THINGS ARE UNCLEAR:
Will the global economic crisis come?
Is Trump the only problem?
Will Ukraine lose?
Will the EU fall apart?
Are we screwing up the climate?
It’s a rough moment. Maybe it’s better if we take stock of what is. In Vienna, because we live here. Subjectively, because there is no single truth about this city anyway.
For this issue we sent the very wonderful photographer Niko Havranek out to capture the city. ALL OF VIENNA, just as it is right now, for Niko and now for all of us. And we in the editorial team also went out a bit, to look more closely, maybe more openly—at any rate, very attentively.
We tuned ourselves down to THE MOMENT.
And maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
