Patrick Rimond - Hudros, iKi Éditions, 2016, Leers
Hardcover, design by Jolanta Anton, text by Valérie Douniaux, edition of 300 copies, signed.
„The Hudros series was born from my fascination for the movement of a crystal clear water sliding along the solid surface of a concrete wall: life facing the inanimate. The freshness of the always changing, perpetually moving, water, is opposed to the static character of a concrete which gets damaged with time. Nevertheless interrelated for the proper functioning of a whole, these two apparently antagonistic elements illustrate the duality of yin and yang.
The images were mainly taken along the canals which bring fresh water from the rivers Durance and Verdon to a part of Provence.“
