In A Night in London, Brand portrays a city before a war that loomed from not too far away. This is Brandt's second book and it portrays this bustling city from dusk to dawn. Brand creates an rhythm that adjusts to the one from London, with dynamic images full of on going things. Sometimes his photographs can be classified as straight documentary, where he saw what was happening and captured it. Sometimes we can tell they are highly staged (photo-illustration).
