"This book remains silent.
A short fragmented text tells of the hard life of a grown old woman. The pictures show where it took place. In a time long gone.
Ester Vonplon has visited the past and brought back beautiful, slightly blurry pictures from the life of others. A canyon, a river, forest, small, rural houses, deserted rooms, worn furniture, old paintings and photographs merge into a strange world that touches one´s own memories.
Presented are the records in two bound book blocks without a cover and a folded text insert." (Hannes Wanderer)
